2009-10 France Player Issue Techfit Home Shirt Ribery 7, adidas’ elite on-field specification from the build-up to the 2010 World Cup. Finished in deep navy with white shoulder stripes, red lower-body graphics and Franck Ribéry’s number 7 front and back, this is the serious version of one of France’s most distinctive late-2000s designs. The close-cut Techfit construction and visible Powerweb structure immediately separate it from the standard replica shirt.

Built with adidas Techfit technology, the shirt uses a compression-style fit with strategically placed Powerweb bands across the front and back to support movement and stability. Transfer-material adidas branding and shoulder stripes reduce weight, while the gold FFF crest, white V-neck and sculpted panel construction give the shirt the unmistakable appearance of the player-issue specification.
This design carried France through the closing stages of 2010 World Cup qualification and into the tournament itself, with Ribéry wearing the number 7 as one of Les Bleus’ most dangerous attacking players. The campaign included the controversial play-off victory over the Republic of Ireland before a difficult World Cup in South Africa, giving this shirt a very specific place in French football history. Player-issue Techfit examples are considerably scarcer than the standard retail version, and the Ribéry nameset makes this one especially strong.
