2002-03 Everton Home Shirt Rooney 18, the royal blue home design from Wayne Rooney’s rookie season at Goodison Park, finished with his original number 18 nameset on the reverse. Rooney made his Premier League debut against Tottenham on 17 August 2002 at just 16, before announcing himself to English football with one of the defining goals of the early Premier League era.

The shirt keeps Everton’s traditional royal blue identity with period white detailing, club crest and Kejian sponsor across the front, while Rooney 18 gives the reverse the exact early-career look associated with his first senior season. Before the number 10 shirts, England records and Manchester United trophies, Rooney began in blue wearing 18.
On 19 October 2002, five days before his 17th birthday, Rooney came off the bench against reigning champions Arsenal and curled a late winner beyond David Seaman from distance. The goal ended Arsenal’s 30-match unbeaten league run and made Rooney the youngest goalscorer in Premier League history at the time. He went on to become Manchester United’s all-time leading scorer, win five Premier League titles and the Champions League, and finish his Premier League career with 208 goals. Rooney 18 marks the beginning of that journey. His first full senior season, his breakthrough at Everton and the moment one of English football’s defining careers properly took off.
